How to Install TWRP on Samsung J2 2015 [PC]
Hello,
Samsung, being a very popular in India launched a device SM-J200G in India. This device is at budget and handy. I myself use this android. But after using for some months, this device became very slow due to background running of apps.
So today I am going to show you how to install TWRP recovery on your Samsung J2 and after then how to root it.
So you need:-
- Windows PC (which everyone have)
- A USB cable
- Samsung USB Drivers Installed on your PC (Link Below)
- Odin latest version. (Link Below)
- TWRP zip file for j2lte. (Link Below)
- Mind
Download all files and install them on your pc, basically usb drivers.
> open your phone lock, go to settings and enable Developer Options
If youn don't know how to enable developer option then go to settings> about device and touch the "Build number or Build ID " 7 to 8 times > go back and see in the bottom there will be developer options.
>Go to developer options and enable "USB Debugging" and "OEM Unlock".
>Now Switch off your mobile
> Hold Volume Down+ Home button the Power Button to go to download mode.
>It should Look like this, press volume up to continue to download mode.
> Now connct your phone to pc via usb cable and it install the drivers.
>Now open Odin
>Make sure that in the Log tab there is "Added" written, this means your phone is connected.
> go to options tab and uncheck the auto reboot
option.
>Now Click the AP button and select the twrp-3.1.0-j2lte.img.tar file.
> Now Click Start.
> Let it complete until Odin show "Pass" in the upper left tab.
> Now remove the usb cable and remove your mobile battery.
> Now to check if TWRP is installed or not, go to recovery mode by pressing Volume UP + Home and Power button to go to Recovery mode.
Congrats, you have installed TWRP and Void your warranty.
